The Rotaract Club of Montebello had the privilege of participating in the National Polio Day Trail on Sunday, 20th October, at La Cambuse. The excitement started early as our Rotaractors gathered and took a bus to the beautiful La Cambuse beach in the south of the island.
During the event, our members had the chance to bond and share experiences with Interactors, creating lasting connections. A rich breakfast was served to all participants, setting the tone for the day. Soon after, we were proud to form part of the human chain, standing strong under the slogan “I’M HELPING ERADICATE POLIO.”
The 5km trail began at La Cambuse, and after two challenging yet fun-filled hours of walking, we returned to the beach for a well-deserved lunch. Together, we reflected on the day’s experiences and shared valuable insights.
Our Club is beyond honored to have taken part in this national project, knowing that, together, we’ve made a real impact in helping eradicate polio.
