On Tuesday, 17th December, the Interact and Rotaract Clubs of Montebello came together
with a shared mission: to bring joy, hope, and warmth to families from Barkly. This annual initiative has become more than just a projectβitβs a tradition of care and connection, reminding us of the power of service and love.

Β
The day began with enthusiasm as members of both clubs prepared food packs for 12 families, each one made with care and thought. Delicious sandwiches, samoussas, cakes, and snacks were lovingly prepared
, while chairs were set up outdoors to welcome the families under the warm sunshine
. The preparation was a beautiful moment of fellowship, filled with laughter, teamwork, and a deep sense of purpose.

Β
When the families arrived, they were greeted with warm smiles
and heartfelt hospitality. Refreshments and biscuits
were served, and the families expressed their gratitude with blessings that touched our hearts
.Β

For those unable to attend, food packs were delivered to their homes in Barkly, ensuring no one was left out of this act of love. Their joy, especially the excitement of the children holding their treats
, was a reminder of how small gestures can make a big difference

Β
This project wasnβt just about sharing foodβit was about sharing moments, conversations, and care. The families of Barkly are always in our hearts. Thank you to Mrs Fadia for her dedication and support which made this day even more meaningful, and we are deeply grateful.
Β
The day ended with members of both clubs gathering to reflect on the impact of the initiative. We shared experiences, laughed
, and celebrated the bonds that make our partnership so strong. This was more than an act of service; it was a celebration of unity, compassion, and the magic of giving during the festive season.
