On Friday 24th May we had the immense pleasure of hosting an enlightening online session on “Smart Nutrition for a Healthier & Happier You,” featuring none other than President Yovanee Veerapen, a renowned dietician. 🌿✨
President Yovanee shared invaluable insights into how our eating habits significantly impact our overall well-being. She emphasized that no matter what our food preferences are, it’s all about the quantity and frequency of eating. 🍽️
Her key message was clear and empowering: You can enjoy all the foods you love! 🎉 The secret lies in having a balanced eating plan and preparing your meals mindfully. This approach ensures that you not only satisfy your taste buds but also nourish your body effectively.
She also took special care to encourage the youngsters, reassuring them that healthy eating doesn’t mean giving up their favourite treats. With smart planning and thoughtful preparation, it’s possible to indulge in all the delicious foods they enjoy while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. 🌱💪
