With humility, I express my thanks and gratitude to all members of the club for entrusting me the Role of President for the Rotary Year 2023-2024.
The Famous wheel of the Rotary keeps on turning and no doubt this reminds us that nothing is static in life. Today, as I embark on this new journey in the role of a President, it is my duty to abide by the theme for the year 2023 -2024 as declared by RI President R. Gordan R. McInally which is Create Hope in the World.
The RI President R. Gordan R.McInally lays emphasis on mental health, peace and well-being and our District Governor Luderce Camalon stresses on education.
Rotary strives to achieve its objective channeled through the Five Avenues of Service: Club service, Vocational Service, Community Service, International Service, New Generations Service
We, in Rotary Club of Montebello, will be carrying out a few projects bearing in mind the seven areas of focus and being in line with the Rotary Theme of the year.
Our aim is to serve, to bring a positive change & to Create Hope in the World. We shall not forget our Motto “Service Above Self”
Rotary is also about fellowship which increases the sense of belonging to the club. During this year, we shall not neglect the family events which is the key moment of bonding among the families and strengthening the relationship in the club.
I wish to express my thanks to my Board Members who have agreed to be part of the team and support the club through this RI Year 2023-2024.However, to fulfill my duties and responsibilities of a President, I rely fully on the involvement, commitment, and dedication of each member of the club.
Rotarians let us join hands and TOGETHER CREATE HOPE IN THE WORLD.
