The Interact Club of Montebello kicked off the Rotary International Year 2024-2025 with a vibrant and joyful twist, proving that true magic happens when members are not only engaged but truly feel they belong. Under the dynamic leadership of President Riya and Service Project Director Anjalee, a fun-filled bonding afternoon set the stage for a year of impactful activities on Thursday 8th August.Â
The afternoon began with a series of exciting games designed to bring everyone together, blending fun and productivity in perfect harmony. From lively rounds of “Telephone” and “Lougarou” to meaningful conversations, every activity was geared towards strengthening the bonds between members—especially welcoming those new to the club.Â
This event also provided a fantastic opportunity for the organizing members to showcase their leadership and confidence in steering such sessions. By trusting our young leaders, we empower them to shine and demonstrate their true capabilities. Â
In a heartwarming gesture, the club also organized a stationery collection, where members contributed school materials supplies for those in need. This initiative is just the beginning as the club eagerly prepares for next month’s theme: “Education & Literacy.”
