The Rotaract Club of Montebello had the privilege of hosting Mr. Bashir Maudarbocus, a highly experienced self-employed mechanic, on Sunday 9th February, for an insightful and empowering session on car functioning and road safety.

Both boys and girls were equally thrilled as they dived into the world of cars, learning about:

Mr. Bashir also emphasized the importance of driving discipline, road courtesy, and the critical need to stay alert behind the wheel—because a responsible driver doesn’t just protect themselves but also their passengers and pedestrians.

To wrap up this engaging session, the gentlemen of the club surprised everyone with a fun-filled fellowship, featuring sweet treats and refreshing beverages. The conversations continued, with members eagerly discussing their newfound knowledge and how they would apply it in real life.

A huge thank you to Mr. Bashir for his time, wisdom, and invaluable expertise! We also extend our gratitude to DO Leena for organizing this incredible and hands-on session, giving us a strong foundation in car mechanics and road safety awareness.
